Dear Almighty God,
Thank you for the amazingly beautiful and fantastic people in this world. Thank you for forming each one of us in your unique image. You spent much time deciding how each of us would look, talk, laugh, smile, sing, shout. You gave us each our own personalities that is solely unique. You debated what we would spend our time doing: basketball or writing? singing or drawing? Dancing or running? telling jokes or reading? football or soccer?
You are truly the most magnificent of us all and who can compare to you? You have come and died. And you died for no other reason than me, us, we puny humans. You spoke everything into being with a single command and you saw that it was good. You formed my undeserving race from no other than dirt.
You changed the world when you came and lived as a servant among us. You changed out hearts. Your words penetrated deep into our souls and lived on in our spirits, generation after generation. You changed the way we did things by coming into this world filled with temptations and living a perfectly perfect life with no blemishes. You recreated the meaning of life and fed us the food that would last forever.
Thank you for caring even when we don't find time for you everyday. Thank you for still loving us even when we turn our backs on you. Thank you for always having open arms when we become wanders of the world. Thank you for forgiving us of our sins, even the ones we don't always know that we commit. Thank you for giving us the privilege of being called Christians, Children of God. Thank you for being our Father. Thank you for giving us second chances, third chances, fourth changes, thousands of chances, millions of chances, billions. Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for always listening when no one else will. Thank you for always telling us when we are wrong. Thanks for always giving us a choice even if we don't pick you. Thank you for always clearly marking the path to eternity. Thank you for never changing. Thank you for always wanting the best out of us. Thank you for our families. Thank you for our friends. Thank you for being our God.
We commit sins all of the time and you never give up. We lie. We judge. We are easily angered. We are hypocrites. We are lustful. We are mean. We are rude. We are the worst of the worst and the best of the best of the best all mixed in one. We are sinners and you forgive us for each and every wrong doing. We can make mistakes, but we can never make a big enough mistake for you to stop loving us.
I ask that you help us to help ourselves as we are on this journey of mistakes, of loss, of hurt, of laughter, of love, of life. Help us to be connected to you and to learn from all of the messes we make. I ask that you help us to be courageous. I want to look back one day and see a world that is do dearly in love with the Kind of Kings. I ask that you bless all of our missionaries, bless each one of us because we are all missionaries who are called to spread the good new to those who do not have it. And one day, let every soul on this crazy world come to know your truth. Help us to save all the lives that we can. Help us to give people a real reason to live. Help people to find that they are loved! That they are brimming with purpose! That they are made for a reason! That they are cared for! That they are thought of! Help us to teach these people, which think of themselves so lowly, that they have more potential in their pinky than they could ever understand, that they are more valuable than the most precious stones, that they are worth everyday of every year, that they are the most amazing creations You ever made, that they are Yours. Help us to expand your kingdom and to learn that we need a little less of ourselves and a ton more of you.
